Center islands or butcher block tables are practical and beautiful in the kitchen. They allow for additional storage and worktop surface for the cook. If your kitchen is smaller, portable kitchen island carts or trollies may be a nice option if a new kitchen is not in the budget this year or if you don’t have enough room for a full-blown island.
