Wood Mode Custom Cabinetry Unveils A New Website Featuring Elegant Kitchen Designs

News & Trends

Wood-Mode just launched its newly redesigned website, and it is truly a fantastic tool for you to find custom cabinetry and kitchen design inspiration. Their new site is chock filled with Wood-Mode kitchen designs as well as cabinetry for other rooms in your home. Here is a brief sampling of some of the new features on their site:

Their new kitchen design photo galleries include:

American Classics: In the American Classics gallery, you’ll find Wood-Mode kitchens in styles that draw inspiration from across America and across history.

European Inspiration: In this gallery Wood Mode brings European style to life. This style cabinetry has always been a source of time-tested inspiration whether you choose elegant “old world” design or the casual warmth of French and English country kitchens.

Contemporary Expressions: In this gallery, Wood Mode showcases the “new” look of contemporary kitchens. The modern looks are a little softer and less sterile than older kitchen designs. The hallmarks of their contemporary cabinetry show modern clean lines, minimal embellishment, and more transitional design.

There is also a fantastic gallery sorted by room designs: kitchens, baths, closets and wardrobes, entertainment centers, home offices, bars, and fireplaces — all designed with Wood-Mode and Brookhaven cabinetry.

Perhaps my favorite feature on the new website is the way they separated their cabinetry options into an easy-to-navigate area that includes:

Door Styles: Here you’ll see a sampling of inset, overlay, and specialty doors. Wood-Mode offers over 200 different door styles, from traditional to contemporary. On their new website, they share a selection of the most popular doors to give you inspiration, and you’re not limited to what you see on the website. We will help you select the perfect combination of door styles, wood species and finishes and, as always, Kitchen Designs by Ken Kelly can customize anything.

Wood Species & Laminates: Wood-Mode and Brookhaven cabinets are available in a selection of solid woods, natural veneers, and durable laminates to create looks that range from warm and rustic to cutting edge contemporary. The specialty veneers are quite exotic and can make your space unforgettable. Here you’ll see Macassar Ebony, Zebra Wood, Rift Cut Veneer, Carmelized Bamboo, and Stainless Steel… to name a few.

Finishes: In the finishes section of the website, you will see a sampling of stain, opaque, custom, and distressed finishes. With Wood-Mode, you can create a wide variety of looks. Their time-tested furniture finishing techniques utilize a multi-step process to highlight the beauty of the wood and provide a catalyzed oven-baked topcoat that protects the finish so it will be beautiful and durable for a lifetime. Again, the design possibilities for our designers at Kitchen Designs by Ken Kelly are limitless. We can custom color match anything you want and make it happen for you.

Architectural Elements: Wood-Mode offers us the opportunity to create unique one-of-a-kind rooms and custom furniture pieces that can even include paneling, moulding & trim, fireplaces, refrigerators, hutches, buffets, wine storage, and range hoods.  Wood-Mode options allow our creativity to run wild.

Storage & Convenience Options:  In this area, you will find a variety of built-in storage and convenience options for kitchens, baths, closets, pantries, laundry rooms, etc… all functional and beautiful. Again, on their website, they feature a sampling of the most popular. Your storage and organization needs might require something even more unique, which we can completely customize for you. We once designed a gadget drawer that was customized for each piece of equipment.

Construction Features: Here you will find the standards that define the construction, quality, and craftsmanship behind the Wood-Mode name.  It features specifics about their two lines of custom cabinetry: Wood-Mode and Brookhaven.

As with all the custom cabinetry offered at Kitchen Designs by Ken Kelly, there is no catalog to limit your choices. Our website shows a sampling of the many design elements and details we could create with Wood-Mode cabinetry. The possibilities for customization are truly endless, and we look forward to designing your unique space.
