Elegant White Kitchen in Garden City Long Island by Designer Ken Kelly CKD
Ken designed this elegant, classic white kitchen for a client in Garden City. (Ken Kelly, CKD, CBD, CR - Kitchen Designs by Ken Kelly, Inc.) The kitchen renovation resulted in a warm and congenial kitchen with plenty of room for entertaining friends and family. The combination of comfort and elegance provides upscale elements ideal for day-to-day living making it the focal point of the home. The impact of its open space flooded with filtered sunlight casts warmth on the kitchen’s dynamic lines. Innovative design solutions are the key to this impeccable space that combines understated clean lines with the latest cutting edge appliances.
The cabinetry is Wood-Mode in a painted Nordic White finish, and the inset door with recessed panel is the Regent door style. The cabinet hardware is from Top Knobs
The island showcases 3/4 posts that are gracefully shaped with rosettes drilled into the tops. One quarter of the post leg is notched and attached to the corner of the cabinetry.
Ken created a custom frame to attractively set the Wolf microwave flush with the cabinet frame.
Decorative columns to the right and left of the refrigerator are wrapped with an intricate mitered molding detail. Appliances are SubZero and Wolf. Warming drawer is Dacor
The idea was to create an ideal interior with elegant style that would function comfortably for a variety of activities and provide a perfect place to discover the pleasures of family life.

OK so now you are teasing me with my dream kitchen. I really want a white kitchen like this. What’s great is you can always add color in the accessories for each season and it will always match. This is beautiful. I like the marble but I think I’ll want a granite counter.

This kitchen is beautiful! I love the elegance of the white. It makes the room look simple, yet sophisticated. My favorite part is the X-mullion glass door on the upper cabinet. It just adds that little touch which brings the kitchen to a whole other level. I would love to cook in this kitchen every day!
