1 cup of all-purpose flour
1 cup of milk
1/4 tsp of salt
1 tablespoon of butter or margarine, melted

1 Place eggs, milk, butter, flour, and salt in mixer bowl. Attach bowl and wire whip to mixer. Turn to speed 4 and beat 15 seconds. Stop and scrape bowl. Turn to Speed 4 and beat 15 seconds more.
2 Fill 8 heavily greased and floured custard cups or popover pan half full with batter. Place cups on cookie sheet. Place cookie sheet in the cold oven and set the heat at 450 degrees F.
3 Bake for 15 minutes; reduce the heat to 350 degrees F and bake 20 to 25 minutes longer. Remove from oven and cut the slit into the side of each popover. Serve immediately.
