Ingredients List

1/2 cup of pine nuts
2 cloves of peeled garlic
1/2 – 3/4 cup of olive oil
2 cups of fresh basil leaves
1/8 cup of fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup of fresh parsley
1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese grated
1/2 teaspoon of oregano
1/2 teaspoon of salt (or more to taste)
1/4 teaspoon of pepper


1 If you have time to lightly toast the pine nuts, do that first; then, pulse the pine nuts and garlic in a blender to chop. Slowly add the olive oil and the rest of the ingredients in a high-speed blender until well blended. Add more salt and pepper to taste.

2 Enjoy with pasta, grilled vegetables salad, zoodles, eggs, grilled shrimp or chicken, in dips, or on a sandwich.
