Best Cleaner to Disinfect Granite, Marble, Quartz, Corian & Other Solid Surfaces

We are always asked to recommend a cleaner that will disinfect and kill germs on natural stone surfaces. We recommend a product from from Stone Care International called Counterrific, Ready-To-Use Spray Disinfectant. It may be used on Laminates, Granite, Marble, Quartz, Corian and other Solid Surfaces.
It is EPA and FDA approved for Natural Stone Surfaces and contains no phosphorus. In addition, it can also be used on any washable hard nonporous surfaces including shower stalls, sinks, walls, glazed ceramic tiles, tables, glazed porcelain tile, and bathtubs.
To truly disinfect with Counterrific, you spray this product on the counter and leave the counter wet for 10 minutes before wiping clean with a dry cloth or sponge.
• Disinfects granite, marble, and all brands of laminates such as Formica®, Quartz Surfaces such as Silestone®, and Solid Surfaces such as Corian®
• Kills Influenza-A 2009 H1N1* Flu strain on kitchen countertops & vanity surfaces
• Kills food borne bacteria, such as Salmonella, Choleraesuis, Escherichia Coli, and Listeria Monocytogenes
• Safe on food-handling surfaces
Counterrific prevents mildew and mold staining and growth with regular use, and it will not dull, etch, or harm stone surfaces. Counterrific is available here or at your local hardware stores.
Another great cleaner I use and love especially for granite and stone is DuPont StoneTech Professional Revitalizer Cleaner and Protector. It cleans as well as protects the counter. It has a built in sealer making the surface easier to clean.
Other general kitchen cleaners we like from our affiliates include: Seventh Generation, Ecover, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day, and Caldrea. I also can’t live without Bar Keepers Friend®.
