Ingredients List

10 cups of sliced peeled and cored Macintosh apples
1/2 cup of sugar
1 tsp of baking powder
1/2 tsp of salt
1 cup of flour
1 egg
1 tsp of ground cinnamon
1/2 cup of melted butter

Directions

1 Grease with butter a large rectangular 13 x 9 inch baking dish, and fill the dish with the sliced apples.

2 Crumb together with a fork, the sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and egg. 

3 Sprinkle the mixture over the top of the apples. Pour 1/2 cup melted butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon.

4 Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Then serve with vanilla ice cream.
