Award Winning Master Bath Renovation in Oyster Bay, Long Island
This master bath renovation is an NKBA award winning bathroom designed by Kitchen Designs by Ken Kelly featuring the creative mix of three door styles. Inspired by the serenity of George V Hotel’s spa in Paris and wanting to recreate that romantic sense of luxury into daily life, Ken created this master bedroom bath with spa-style amenities for a French Normandy home in Oyster Bay, Long Island. The stunning result rests on a foundation of Turkish marble and furniture-style cabinets that are a replication of French country cabinetry prevalent in the south of France during the 18th century. Three door styles were combined to create this exquisite design. A stunning wall of candle niches offers pockets of glowing light against a backdrop of Oasis Blue and Blue Lagos marble. The entire wall is operated off a remote control. A night light switch turns on a 1/8-inch high blue LED tape light under the overhang of the tub deck. Read more…
