Kosher Kitchen in Woodmere Long Island with Green Retro Style
This kosher kitchen was designed to separate items used for preparation and serving of meat and dairy. For this kitchen renovation, we designed a kosher kitchen for an observant Jewish family in New York — in Woodmere, Long Island. They turned to Mario because he specializes in kosher kitchen design. He understands that good design separates meat and milk products efficiently, as well as cookware, utensils, bowls, and dishes for each. Mario designed this kosher kitchen to maintain Jewish dietary laws for a family of six and also to provide enough space to entertain for Shabbat dinners. In this design, we expanded the existing kitchen to four times its original size and created a great room that opened up to the new den. The main work zone is for cooking, and a second smaller zone is specifically designed to house refrigerated and dairy items. The kitchen has a second sink, an eat-in table area, and a beautiful bay window overlooking the yard’s gardens and children’s play area. Read more details here…
