Shades of Grey Kitchen Great Room in Roslyn, NY

We created this grey kitchen great room for a client in Roslyn, Long Island. The homeowner walked into our kitchen showroom with an architectural plan and a vision for their dream kitchen and family room renovation. The discussion focused on creating a new space that would reflect their personality and provide a great family space. The client was open to seeing new colors and finish techniques and wanted a clean, transitional, open-plan design. We showed them some of the new and exciting products and how they could use them in unexpected ways. Extensive dialog between the designer and the homeowner led to a phenomenal kitchen great room design that merged functionality with beauty. We needed to make some minor architectural changes for this layout so the island orientation would provide everyday convenience with maximum storage space.  Countertops are by Silestone in Lagoon and Shitake, and the backsplash is a silver travertine tumbled marble. Read more details here…
