Grand-Scale Living Room

You Can Cook In

West Islip, Long Island, NY

Grand Scale High End Kitchen in West Islip, Long Island

This grand scale high end kitchen in West Islip, Long Island certainly has the WOW factor! Artistic and architectural details combined with fully integrated appliances create this highly functional kitchen. This kitchen design is all about a luxury kitchen experience. Its design focus is on lifestyle, family, entertaining, and enjoyment. The client wanted to create a space where the entire family can cook together. They wanted the space to accommodate large crowds and have a social atmosphere and elegant coastal ambiance. We had to create balance and proportion in this large-scale room while maintaining a highly functional cooking environment. The use of color and the combination of marble and wood counters helped us achieve the warmth we were looking for. We chose under counter Sub-Zero freezer and refrigerator drawers for added refrigeration and a wine chiller for convenience. The Wolf 48″ range top with a 24″ griddle is perfect for Sunday morning pancakes, and the warming drawer adds a luxurious touch for pre-warming the plates. Additional appliances include dishwashers by Gaggenau, a Marvel ice maker, and a Miele coffee center.

Cabinetry Used: Bentwood inset 1″ thick door with reversed raised panel. Color is cotton white on maple with a custom blue weathered finish on one island and a praline stained walnut on the second island.
