A Family Friendly Kitchen Renovation in Roslyn, New York

This Roslyn, Long Island, homeowner wanted a family friendly kitchen renovation to accommodate the daily lives of everyone in the family. We designed kitchen cabinetry and pantry space utilizing every available inch and included narrow storage cabinets along the back of the center island. This detail provides accessible food storage for the kids who can prepare their own breakfast or reach for a grab-and-go snack. There is plenty of space to cook meals together and organize daily activities in this eat-in kitchen. Custom food pantries and a family message center greatly improve how the kitchen functions for the family.  The result is a cozy living space that connects the kitchen to the outdoors with a sun-drenched eating area. The countertops are granite with appliances from Sub-Zero and Wolf. We added a wine refrigerator and built-in microwave and refrigerator drawers with matching integrated cabinetry panels. The perimeter cabinetry is from our Brookhaven by Wood-Mode line in a Springfield square raised frameless doorstyle with French vanilla finish on maple wood. The kitchen island is a custom Prairie Green finish. We added matching crown molding and toe kicks.

Cabinetry Used: Wood-Mode’s Brookhaven Springfield square raised frameless doorstyle in French vanilla on maple with a Prairie Green custom island.
