Elegant Kitchen Layout With an Island and Butler’s Pantry

This design features an elegant kitchen layout with an island and separate butler’s pantry. Everything about it is exquisite and high end, and the kitchen layout makes the best use of available space.  Mixing modern Gaggenau appliances within a timeless, traditional design adds excitement to the contrasting light and dark cabinetry. The Gaggenau appliances include a cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator, wine chiller, coffee machine and two steam ovens. The kitchen fixtures are from Franke, and the wood countertops on the kitchen island and butler’s bar are from Grothouse. The main counters are Caesarstone’s Belgian Moon. A 48″ wall cabinet has a wall pantry on the left and a swing-out spice rack on the right. The kitchen island is designed for multitasking with a special bow front base cabinet with open shelving making the room warm and highly functional. The mantle was constructed in the field from veneer panels and molding. The butler’s pantry cabinets have walnut interiors with shelving routed to hold glass shelves behind beveled glass mullion doors. A filigree inlay molding was added to the hutch in the butlers pantry in natural cherry over a wood veneer countertop. This kitchen layout reflects the way many of our clients are choosing to live nowadays. The design is perfect for multiple chefs and makes for a wonderful entertaining space.

Cabinetry Used: Wood-Mode — The kitchen & butler’s pantry features a Georgetown raised door style on walnut wood in a Sable finish. The kitchen island is Georgetown raised in a Wall Street finish on walnut. The lighter butler’s pantry cabinetry in the sink area is Georgetown raised on maple in a Vintage Nordic finish.
