Custom Kitchen Cabinets in Great Neck with Purple and Grey Hues
Kitchen Designs by Ken Kelly designed these custom kitchen cabinets for a New York home in Great Neck, Long Island. The color is completely custom in unique purple and grey hues that are artistically weathered. These custom kitchen cabinets were inspired by a marble tile sample with purple and grey hues that the client fell in love with. The clients had a vision that the cabinets look “artfully weathered.” We loved the concept and designed something completely original. The door style is a beaded inset, recessed panel with applied moldings, exposed barrel hinges, and pewter hardware. We were able to create these custom kitchen cabinets with Bentwood in the perfect painted and glazed finish, which is catalyzed and then baked for durability. The custom refrigerator has remarkable detailing. When you open the doors, the entire refrigerator panel curves into the top moulding. There is also valence detail on the bottom to accommodate the freezer drawer. The edges of the side cupboards are chamfered. The molding elegantly fits the depth of the profile and the arch at the top. We made custom unfinished mitered molding for the drop beams connecting the den to the kitchen so that both sides mimic each other and unify the space. Read more details here…
