Dove White Finish

Luxurious Kitchen Remodel

Oyster Bay, Long Island, NY

White Kitchen on the Bay

This magnificent beach-house kitchen overlooks scenic Oyster Bay, Long Island. It infuses tranquility and calm especially when washing dishes and seeing the ever-changing view of sailboats and sunsets on the harbor. The kitchen is the epicenter of home life for this family who loves to cook and entertain together. The design features a beautiful, transitional kitchen door style in a dove white finish from our Elmwood cabinet collection. It was made from a one-piece MDF door, ideal for a home on the water. The cabinets provide plenty of storage space allowing the kitchen to remain uncluttered. By moving the powder room door to a perpendicular wall, Ken Kelly’s kitchen design created much more efficient storage on the refrigerator wall while simultaneously creating a better location to enter and exit the powder room. In addition, this change freed enough space to add a linen closet to the master bathroom behind the pantry. We added a raised-height custom bar to align with the windowsill heights for additional water-view seating. The kitchen appliances are all by Thermador. The corner base cabinet has the Leman’s turnout for easy access to the dead corner. The pullouts on the right and left of the range features spice racks on the right and cooking utensil caddys on the left. The farmhouse sink brings the sink closer to you, which makes it much easier to work in — particularly helpful for a shorter person.
