Imagine 15 bloggers in a steam room / luxury spa bath experience? It’s the only place Mr.Steam would throw a party. Mr.Steam, a sponsor of BlogTour Vegas, hosted a memorable Spa day for us at Aria for the ultimate steam therapy experience! Thank you Mr. Steam and Martha Orellana, Vice President, for reviving us at exactly the moment we needed it. We love talking about Mr. Steam as we specify these bath products for Kitchen Designs clients who desire a luxury spa experience at home. Mr. Steam is local too — located right here in Long Island City. They recently won a GOOD DESIGN™ award for the iSteam, a revolutionary steam room touch panel control designed by industrial designer David Farrage and Mike Pinkus, president and CEO of Mr. Steam.
Let’s have a look at some of their innovations that make them a stand out in the industry.
Towel warmers: This is not your ordinary towel warmer. Each towel warmer comes standard with an aromatherapy oil well. I think I can actually smell the lavendar …
iSteam: iSteam is a touch-screen navigation system that allows clients to easily control temperature, time, music, chroma therapy lighting, aromatic infusers, and the steam settings. This is a sensory experience well worth the investment. The best thing Ken and I ever did was incorporate steam, chroma therapy and audio/visual into our master bath. It is beyond fabulous and makes you feel great every time you enter the space. For me it is an instant cure-all. The high tech iSteam screen displays beautiful graphics with high performance in wet conditions. There is an optional Bluetooth audio streaming system and 4 in-shower speakers allowing for a personal steam experience with optimal sound. You can choose a black or a white panel. You might also want to add the iGenie wireless control, which will preheat the steam shower remotely from up to 100 feet away.

Intelligent Steambath: Mr. Steam’s Intelligent Steambath offer 10 residential models for any size steam room. The unit itself is small, about the size of a briefcase, and can be installed up to to 60 feet away from the steam shower. It is important to fit the right sized unit for the total room volume.
Sweating regularly can actually detoxify your body, so I’ll leave you with a few images to “steam” over…
