Miele Countertop Coffee System CM5

Thought I’d share the CM5 today — Miele’s first fully automatic countertop coffee system. There are two models that come in a black or white finish. The CM5000 (manual steam valve model) and the upgrade model CM5100 (upgrade includes: electronic steam valve model for hands-free milk frothing at the push of a button, stainless steel accent panels, and an integrated 6+ cup warmer). It’s comprised of stainless-steel dual spouts, and has a bean container, as well as a compartment for ground coffee. This machine was created to provide coffee lovers with a delicious espresso/latte/coffee with complete ease of operation. Although it’s design is simple, it features all the settings you need: Espresso, Double Espresso, Coffee, and Double Coffee, and it has three adjustable strength and temperature settings to customize your drinks to your precise taste. Another nice feature is the integrated steel platform cup warmer at the top of the 5100 model unit (see additional photos below).

We just added the Miele Built-In Nespresso Coffee System model (shown right) to our showrooms and are really enjoying the ease of using nespresso capsules. You can also get these units plumbed.

Whether you choose the countertop or the built-in models, be sure to see Miele’s recipes for coffee-based indulgences here — mini espresso sundaes, cappuccino, mochaccino, and caffe lattes.
