From smart phones to smart cooktops, this is multitasking at its best… 
Cook a meal, read a blog post from your cooktop, listen to music, browse recipes, and tweet all from one kitchen work surface. Whirlpool is developing the Interactive Cooktop concept (yes, at the moment it is still a concept under development) that can be activated through touch or voice technology. It redefines the potential of the way we cook and socialize right from the heart of the home — the kitchen.
So when can we have one? Looks like we are still 5-10 years out. Here is the video:
