Kitchen Designs by Ken Kelly is excited to show you contemporary cabinetry in Wood-Mode’s new textured high pressure laminates — available to ship in December. Recently there has been a trend in contemporary design for wood grains to take on a more textured look and feel. New technological advances have made it possible to achieve that aesthetic in high pressure laminates. We are now offering four patterns that embrace the weathered look, texture, and colorations our clients have been seeking and our designers have been asking for. These new laminates open up a range of new looks that can be used alone or in combination with other surface materials like veneers or opaque colors that appeal to our clients seeking either an entirely contemporary look or a fearless mixing of classic with modern.

The physical texture of raised wood grain and the extreme realism available through state-of-the-art printing technology are combined with the performance qualities of high-pressure laminates. This versatile material with its stain and fade resistance provides the look and feel of weathered wood with a new level of durability that is just right for today’s market.
