Somewhere Over the Table – Modern Kitchen Chandeliers

Selecting lighting for your kitchen can be an overwhelming task. It is not always easy to visualize how it will look in your space. While there are a great many websites with incredible zoom features available for you to see design details up close, we find that our clients appreciate seeing lighting fixtures in photos of actual kitchens.

One of our Kitchen Designs by Ken Kelly Facebook followers asked us to post more kitchen lighting ideas on our blog, so throughout the year we will share photos showcasing lighting we used in clients’ kitchens as well as photos of lighting selections made by other designers and bloggers. If you are a designer and would like to share your photos — just shoot us an email.

In today’s post, “Somewhere Over the Table,” we’ll look at modern kitchen lighting that throws a graphic one-two punch. Many of these lighting fixtures are suitable for both modern and transitional kitchen design.

The original PH Artichokes were designed for a restaurant in Copenhagen called the Langelinie Pavilion, where they still hang today.
