I’m a Little Teapot – Classic Kitchen Kettles Not Just for Tea
A teapot is just one of those items that can add pizzazz and charm to not only your kitchen but other rooms as well. I’ve seen people use them in so many ways other than the obvious. They can hold pencils, hair accessories, silverware, flowers, office supplies, art supplies and more. The photo below is a unique piece where the tea becomes a framed work of art as leaves steep in its contemporary design. (Click photos for where to purchase)

We have also seen clients use them to store teabags, corn skewers, and wine charms. We built a custom display cabinet once for a client who had a collection of teapots. In addition, an eclectic mix makes for an interesting canister set and can add a dash of color to the kitchen.
I am a loose tea lover, and one of my favorite gifts ever from a special friend was a personal teapot. Below is an eclectic sampling. The colorful set in the middle is from Hanna Andersson for kids. My absolute favorite is the pewter and white by Arte Italica with the stainless Windsor whistling kettle a close runner up.

This is an interesting blog. I have always liked teapots, but I cannot say that I am particularly fond of tea! We did have one tea here in San Diego that was wonderful, but the company selling it went out of business.
