Protecting the Environment This program was created to recognize industry manufacturers who use environmentally friendly materials and production processes. To qualify for and maintain certification, manufacturers are evaluated annually on compliance in five categories, including air quality, product resource management, process resource management, environmental stewardship, and community relations, as well as energy conservation and recycling programs.
Ken Kelly, CKD, CBD, CR Ken founded Kitchen Designs by Ken Kelly, Inc. in 1982 after studying architectural design and management in college. A 29-year veteran of the remodeling industry, Ken excels at total room design, seamlessly integrating all the essential details of the entire project for his clients. His award-winning design work has been showcased numerous times in the New York Times, Newsday, and Cablevision's News 12 Long Island and nationally in leading consumer publications like House Beautiful, Woman’s Day, Home, House, Designer Kitchen & Baths, and Distinction magazines. His work is featured in several published books and online in HGTV Designer’s Portfolio, Houzz, Kitchen & Bath Design News, K+BB, and more. An active member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), Ken holds three certifications -- certified kitchen designer, certified bath designer, and certified remodeling expert. He is a sought after public speaker on the intricacies of kitchen design for both the consumer and industry professional, offering creative design solutions that have singled him out as a leading designer. Ken Kelly's ongoing commitment includes teaching various seminars and classes on an annual basis. His technical expertise and unrelenting attention to detail make him a "stand out" in the industry and have earned him a referral base that defies comparison. Ken is the 2010 NKBA Design Competition Winner for this master bath.
Grace Kelly, MS, BS in Business and Technology. With 22 years in the kitchen, bath and remodeling business, Grace left a full-time career as a professor to manage strategic operations and business development driving growth in the company’s offerings. Grace is the architect and administrator of our web site and blog and provides pivotal technical direction for Kitchen Designs’ continued advancements. She manages marketing and advertising and is the liaison between designers and the media. Grace spent a portion of her career writing grants and developing new initiatives both as a professor and as a school board trustee. Her grants have earned significant funding for the local academic community. She keeps her hand in education teaching business courses as an adjunct at NCC. Her goal is to educate the consumer, improve and simplify the home improvement process, and provide an unparalleled experience for Kitchen Designs’ clients. With her impeccable taste and keen eye for details, she is the buyer for the unique product lines you see in the showroom. Grace recently incorporated Shopkitchendesigns.com and is launching our online services and store.
Kathy Geisler, Office Manager Kathy has been an integral part of Kitchen Designs for twenty-one years. As office manager, her extensive background in customer relations and expediting has proven to be a vital asset to staff and clients alike. Her organizational skills have successfully taken the showroom and staff through six major renovations. Kathy continues to train new staff and is dedicated to ensuring that all employees work up to Kitchen Designs' high quality standards.
Enza Russa, Accountant Enza has a strong background in Bookkeeping and Accounting. She is responsibile for the day-to-day operations within our Accounting Department. Enza enjoys the balance of handling all aspects of office administration, records management, accounting, and tax prep. Her work is as precise as our installations.
